I was confused at times, but then again, I am tired.

Im gonna have to say he chose Abby. Horrible choice to have to make, but he's not the only one who loves her.

Beautiful. I love how open ended it its. It could be either one. I personally believe he chose the baby, but I know that has more to do with how I see the characters than anything you wrote in. I love that its completely open to interpretation and is so heart-tuggingly haunting at the same time. Lovely.
