Nice work so far! You've got good pacing with the story and the level of suspense is very high. I've got no idea what the true situation will turn out to be.

I think you did an excellent job on the scene with the parents; the mixture of helplessness, fear, guilt, and anger is very potent and you do a nice job of balancing it with a real sense of David and Connie's love for each other and their belief in the importance of fighting for justice. Very good emotional impact.

I've also been enjoying the main character interactions - in particular it can be difficult to write a friendlier Lassiter without making him too OOC, but I think you've got a good handle on it. Plus I like it when he's in dramatic but nonfatal peril.

I'm looking forward to reading more of this!

Shawn teaches Lassie to be a bad boy. I like it. And then Shawn and Lassie, with some help from Gus, save each other. Even hotter.

Can't wait for more great story by the way hope update soon love Shassy! not enough stories...so Grist is the one that took the girl right or was it Warren? and what is Henry going to do when and if he finds out bout Shawn? and i think it cool that u have Guss/Jules together and its a great story and Henry is an ass in this story right cause he's acting like one now or is that going to change and did something with shawn when he came out of the prison to see Guss or nothing really did happen? and i know u wont be able to tell me this but is there going to be any more kidnapping from girts...to take shawn and guss or just shawn and have lassie go nuts and make henry finally see his faults really do love the story
