This is one of my favorite stories. It's one of my "go to" stories when I'm having a not good day. Obviously, you haven't written anything here for a while but I hope one day you will do a sequel. Thanks. Now, I'll go read some of your other stories until then.

Didn't really have the patience to log in since, OHMYGOD, I love this fic so much.
Found it through livejournal (on spn story finders journal) and am now cursing myself for not reading sooner.
I love every aspect of this fiction. :D Sam going out in a potentially dangerous storm just to keep his brother happy with food. Hiding his injury from Dean. Dean being absent minded enough to not realize that Sam is hurt.
A very serious injury leading to Sam almost losing his life to make Dean realize he'd made a mistake. It's funny and sad at the same time at how one brother needs to be on the brink of death for the other brother to actually realize what's going on.

Dean feeling guilty. Knowing Sam's telltale signs. Sam, even after the surgery trying to play off his pain.

This is just perfect. You nailed every bit of characterization. I absolutely love it. Totally sending the link to a few friends of mine to check out. I'm sure they'll love it too!

Amazing job! Will definitely be checking out more of your fics soon.

Loved this so much. Trust Sam to want to try and save the Impala for Dean and then think he was okay! xo

Second time through this story - two favorite "oh shit" moments are 1) when Dean hears about the car hitting the driver, and 2) when Sammy says, "Dean, I crashed the car." So good!

So - how about that sequel? Like you said, Sam will push his limits once he starts to get bored or gets tired of seeing Dean bored and antsy! And once he gets too tire, it might just be too late. Or he might be in a situation he can't get out of. Bring it on!

This story was awesome. Loved the way you kept everyone in character - you have the "banter" down to an art. I felt like I was watching a good episode!
