Valkyrie Celes chapter 1 . 12/23/2016 Oh my gosh I loved this so much. I've been reading The Lunar Chronicles, and it's so cool to see what this was sort of the beginning of the world building in it! Really liked this take on Puss and Boots XD |
Astral Dragon Spirit chapter 1 . 9/11/2016 This was such a fun story to read. I stumbled upon this account through someone else's favorites and hadn't realized who you were until after the first story I read. Even knowing that, you didn't seem any different from any other Sailor Moon lover in your writing. This story is the first one where I've ever even thought of your Lunar Chronicles. I can see how similar they are now and who you are (part of me still didn't believe). This was a great story and you are very talented. The relationship between Usagi and Endymion moved pretty fast, but I'm used to that happening because of Disney. I loved having Luna in boots. The picture of it in my head is just too adorable. Now that you are writing your own novels, I doubt we will get more fanfiction from you so thank you for leaving your stories for us. They're wonderful. |
Anna Minor-Weeks chapter 1 . 7/26/2016 I loved this story! Luna as Puss in Boots was a fun, inventive idea. The essence of the original Sailor Moon, girl's life being forever altered and eventually realizing she was the Princess of the Moon, was beautifully transferred into this fanfiction. Usagi's characterization was adorable, keeping true to her fun, dreamy, sweet personality. Also, I really appreciated how the deaths of the parents were handled. As a writer, I try to time significant deaths in such a way that my characters are able to mostly recover before or after I write their stories, due in large part to me being nervous about doing justice to writing a character who is in mourning. Usagi was in mourning, talking about and thinking about her parents who she only recently lost, while not eclipsing her personality or the story. I finished the novel Winter yesterday and now am in Lunar Chronicle withdrawals, so I am happy to see that you have a bunch of Sailor Moon fanfics I can read! Sailor Moon was such an amazing part of my childhood (complete with light-up Sailor Moon shoes and dolls), and I recently started watching Crystal Sailor Moon and the Japanese live action version. Realizing I now have the Sailor Moon stories to read from the author of one of my favorite series is wonderful! My email is I really enjoyed Luna version 4.2 and am going to now check out your other stories! ~Anna |
kalmaegi chapter 1 . 12/29/2015 Puss in the boots meet Sailor Moon. Lovely. Reminds me of the old stories right up to Luna encouraging the rumor mill at the return of the true heir. |
MintyPatronus chapter 1 . 8/3/2015 I have read all four of the Lunar Chronicles books, (can'take wait for Winter to come out, by the way) and I just had to read this. I only knew the basic plot of Sailor Moon, and you made me want to go through it all. You are an amazing writer, keep up the good work and keep writing awesome books! By the way, Neville's my favorite too. |
Porsheee chapter 1 . 3/17/2015 Knowing you for writing The Lunar Chronicles (as a good sum of people have) I *discovered* this, which you claimed was the first inspiration. Of course, it happened to be late in the night, and when I discovered it was a full 26K words (quite an accomplishment in itself, I'd say) I figured I'd just read the first paragraph or so to get the idea, and then stop. That didn't happen. Rather, I spent the next hour or two reading this story without any ability to stop aaannnnddddd probably got a little less sleep than I was supposed to. But stars was it worth it. Not only did I get a cool insight on where the series all began, the story was cute on its own and quite sweet. It's what we all dream of, really, to have a prince (oh, alright, king) fall in love with you, and then to go off and become the queen of a beautiful land that a large number (how many people live on the moon here?) of people needed. That said, it was obviously not as polished as Cinder and the others, but that was to be expected. It seemed to move a little fast, in some ways, and too slow in others. Some parts I had to skim, since they were receptive and/or boring (as in near the end, where the cat goes to each new camp and says practically the same thing) and the relationship between Endymion and Usagi was just... so quick. They get engaged practically the first day they meet. I know it's supposed to be fairytale like, but some things have to be forgone, right? Anyway, totally worth it. I wish there was more! :D |
Serenity312 chapter 1 . 1/24/2015 Omg I loved this! Awesome job! :) |
Guest chapter 1 . 9/26/2014 Lindo |
petites sorcieres chapter 1 . 9/18/2014 This story reminded me a lot of the botted cat,so until the end I wasn't so sure that Usagi was truly Serenity, if it wasn't of course for how uncanny similar to Queen Serenity she looks like and ESPECIALLY her crescent moon on her forehead. This was a very cute, and quite well written Thank you for this! |
