OMG, this fic is so bad. Were you in jr high when you wrote it? If I think of this as a fic that a kid wrote, I can appreciate it on that level and find it kind of unintentionally funny. I mean, Naruto and Deidara meet each other and are suddenly like, OMG I totally forgot about us being parent and child! Isn't it crazy that we both forgot about that? That's how bad this fic is.

But what's really incredible to me is that a fic this shitty could get over 170 reviews pre-2010. Like, WTF. It shows how badly the Naruto fandom has fallen off. Back in the day, you could throw poo on the computer screen and still get 100 reviews, easily. Nowadays, amazing, top-quality fanfictions struggle to get over 30 reviews. I know it's been more than 10 years since this fic was published and every fandom eventually dies off, but damn. The Naruto fandom must have been wild in its heyday.
