Beautiful to find this after a rewatch of that nightmare sequence involving the black, red, and the two almost lovers.

I've only just found this and must say how much I have enjoyed reading your work. The portrayal of Gene's contradictory feelings for Alex is balanced by the way they have shared their mutual passion at the end. I wish something more like this had happened in Series 3.
