Reviews for Wishful Thinking
Sandalaris chapter 1 . 7/18/2015
Ooo, this was probably the best idea of how to bring Rose back. Silly and believable and all of it. I now want the series to end like this. The insert-number-here Doctor thinking he's gone mad when Rose sticks her head into the Tardis to ask for some cash, and then slowly everyone realizes that Rose is back and immortal and stuck in their world for good. XD

Sorry, but I didn't really like this and I think I lost a few brain cells while reading it.
LawlAdorkableTurtles chapter 1 . 7/16/2013
This was written marvelously, although I did have to backtrack on the leprechaun explanation a couple of times before I partially understood it :P still, your writing is great. I loved the Doctor's reaction and how he decided he was insane. Rose and Jack's reunion was brilliantly done, and I loved the bit where the Doctor was stuck with his Northern accent. The whole was humerous and tasteful, and I really enjoyed it. Fantastic piece of work, really :3
ThatOneFan chapter 1 . 6/18/2013
I loved this one, It was funny, lighthearted and just a tiny bit serious. I really like this concept of 'channeling' a previous regen and how some of them just won't come back out regardless. I'd have thought Nine would be the one to ignore Ten for loosing Rose if anyone would...
"One still isn't speaking to him since he lost Rose, although why, he has no idea" Is that a reference to Long History? Would that mean that once he regenerated he got his re-conned memories back because he's technically just a part of his subconscious now? Did all of his previous regenerations get that memory back once the next one took over? Am I reading to much into a line that isn't even technically part of Long History's 'verse?
Yes to that last one at least...
Robin Grimm-Goodfellow chapter 1 . 5/9/2013
Rose, don't go to Savannah. It sucks. There's drunkards up the wazoo and nowhere to park - and that's during normal days. Urgh. Lovely fic, add more if you want (cause I would like more very much please and thankyou.)
greeneyesCutie chapter 1 . 4/13/2013
Smiles!
Sapphiregirl chapter 1 . 1/8/2013
I love this! You made me laugh so hard. Rose showing up, Jack's reaction, Rose's reaction, the Doctor channeling Nine, Rose and Jack's "fight"-so much fun. :D

Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. :)
ibelieveinahappilyeverafter chapter 1 . 12/29/2012
Oh my god I am gonna die from fluff! It's so adorable and it lifts my heart! I shall forever love the Doctor and Rose.
cjsmalley chapter 1 . 11/6/2012
This is brillant. I love how The Doctor got so caught up in the moment, when Rose came darting in, demanding money and the yo-yo. I love how it took him quite a few seconds to go OH CRAP.

"He rocked back on his heels, beaming with pride. His Rose, all clever and brilliant, moving to save the day. Wasn't she spectacular, wasn't she fantastic?

Wasn't she supposed to be trapped in another Universe?"

I also adored how Jack and Rose battled, crying in laughter over the fact that Ianto walked right between and they stopped for him.

Also, I think I know what made Mickey rich; Rose saying any thing about her life with The Doctor. Or how she missed him or some such thing.

Many hugs.
develish1 chapter 1 . 10/13/2012
I sometimes forget to check your stuff here, so I'd managed to miss this one until today when I was looking for reunion fics for a list over at BWR.

I love it, absolutely love it, and yes it's gone on the list :)
CosmicEssence chapter 1 . 9/10/2012
So let me see if i've got this: Rose wished for immortality and being unable to 'die'. The Lyprechian feeds off of what is lost in the wish, which in this case is the ability to die. Because Rose is no longer able to die, its now an impossiblity and the Lyprechian has nothing much to feed off of. Right? This sentence i'm still having trouble with (providing I got that first bit sorted course!)
""Well, if someone with practically infinite possibilities makes a wish, it traps the Lyprecian in that person's quantum flow," said the Doctor. "And if someone with finite possibilities was very, very careful, they could take a trapped Lyprecian and put it back where it belongs.""
Rose has trapped it by binding it to her right? due to her wish? So did Rose catch it, get the offer of a wish, made a wish, had it stick around and cause problems and then tried to recatch it so that she could send it 'very very carefully' back to it's home, and it in the process made another wish that sent her 'home'? All this impossiblities talk was right confusing...you do do that sort of tech-garble really well that half the time i don't know if you DO know what you're talking about or whether it's all made up stuff!

right well getting away from the complex stuff above...really enjoyed this one. the Doctor's reaction and thinking he'd gone mad, Jack and Rose being suspicious, the whole freeze up thing with Ianto, Ianto in general, the allude to other Doctor's and the use of Nine (lol their reaction was hilarious :D ), the 'actual' reunion and little moments and of course the pop can and Jack's getting it with the Tardis providing the proverbial 'rock' and the Doctor and Ianto the 'hard place' lol :P Absolutely loved this on, thank you veery much. too bad though that we dont see the second wind of Jack Rose and Doc..._
Lynn Donachie chapter 1 . 8/24/2012
Brilliant. Quantum menace, hee hee! Very nice characterization, and I think you threw in either some physics or metaphysics that I'm going to have to go look up now. I love authors who make me want to learn stuff!
