This was lovely. :) I'm shocking at reviewing stories even when I really like them, but I felt like I had to for this one. And I feel like you deserve a longer review with lots of things in it, but there's not much else I can say about it. It was well-crafted like short stories should be, and it seemed like every sentence, every word even, was placed where it was for a particular reason. Very much IC - a crying Ichigo hardly ever comes off as realistic, but I believe he's capable of it (in a totally rad non-pansy way) and you carried it off nicely. There's a lot of Rukia'sdeathscenewithIchigo stories out there, and they all seem to be so much the same. I'm not sure what made this one different or special, but I liked how it's been put together and it's a nice, bittersweet piece. You know, how bad things happen in a story, but it's still gives you a feel-good feeling? I can imagine it's the sort of feeling you get when a 106 year old dies. Sad, but happy because there's been so many beautiful things in their life. I'm also generally not a fan of first-person narrative, but you did it well and it made the story more personal, which had a good overall effect on the reader.

Amazing. That's all I can say, for the lack of a better word to describe this fanfiction and your way with words. Truly amazing. This was very cute, but very sad at the same time. Which sort of made it bittersweet i guess. You managed to keep them in character very very well (it's something that I have a hard time doing). Kudos to you and great job! I really hope that you write more IchiRuki in the future. I really can’t wait to read more from you. Once again amazing job!
