I long for story like this, the interaction between Kaoru n Saitou. I hope you'd make another one with Kaoru-Aoshi and Kaoru-Soujiro.

That was a great piece of work! I truly enjoyed this character study from both Saitou and Kaoru. I wish you could follow up with this in some way although considering this was written in 2008 that's not likely...

I really love the way you've handled this. I think there is a lot more to many female 'support' characters than a lot of people tend to see, and you highlighted Kaoru's strengths very well with this. This really digs into her role as a teacher - something I really appreciate as one myself. And of course the exploration of Saito's character was fantastic. I love the interaction between these two, especially here at the end (both the beginning of this last chapter, and the very end of it). It feels very raw and real.

i liked how you bounced those two off of each other. i enjoyed a wise and playful kaoru, she's got to have a whole lot more to her than anime/manga show, i like how she was portrayed here.

Hey there. I reread your story once again, and I was once more amazed at its depth and simplicity. I. . . I'm a bit lost myself right now so I could relate with Saito's feeling. And I really really think that your story is one of the best out there with its clarity and its message. It's like the blue waters of the ocean, it's so clear that you can see the coral reefs below that you wouldn't really expect it to be so deep and yet it is. :)

Awesome story. I had to read it all the way through in one sitting. The story (although short) was awesome - descriptive enough to make it interesting and not too verbose, thus keeping my attention.
