I don't really have much to say, really (as ever). Just - the normal: you are such a beautiful writer; I wish you wrote more; one of these days I'm just going to sit down and read all of the stuff you've ever posted on fanfiction (except for the uncomplete things; those just bring me endless frustration - in a good way!).
I came across this in the randomest of ways though, and I'm very happy I did! Thank you for a lovely read, as ever.

I don't know if you'll read this, but I just wanted you to know that this was a truely beautiful story. It captured the moments perfectly, from Itachi's apathetic thoughts, to Sasuke's eyes and what Itachi saw in them.
I know that this story is old, so it is A.U. because it was later revealed that Itachi was not a traitor. However, this story is still perfect in its clear, fleeting beauty. I have no words to describe the empty feelings that you described. Bravo!
