Awwww! This was so great!

While your writing is as good as ever, I just can't stomach the idea of Kagome and Shippo. To me it's like the Sesshomaru/Rin pairing which allegedly is cannon due to a drama CD that has Sesshomaru making this long winded OOC promise/proposal.
Takahashi did not write it however.

I don't like pairings where the older partner raises their partner. It reeks too much of "grooming" which is a term used for pedophiles when they lavish attention and gifts on a victim. Kagome was more like an older sibling to Shippo in the anime and manga, but often a mother figure to him in fanfiction.

This was a great piece. I know you had/have no plans on writing more for this, but I would still love to read more. I would love to see this bloom into a romance and see exactly how Shippo turns her life upside down. I especially loved how Sesshoumaru was being devious and pushing Shippo toward Kagome the whole time.

then i hope you think more about making this one shot in a more chapter story this could be a great future Pairing, i really like this and ist funny how sesshomaru caunted on shippo to do this
