The whole thing with him being a sort of counselor to Kyou is very in-character; I like. I could see the events of this fic actually unfolding in canon.

Not only is Frey my favorite character, but I always have sympathy pangs for the unrequited third wheel guy...so this fic was a must-read. I must say I was impressed. (But now I'm depressed too...)
