The problem with death fics involving terminator and machine characters is of course that if the death isn't instant this kind of thing occurs with us knowing there's still a chance. I suppose he'd reactivate her later in the war then...after the original went back.

Wow, thats such an intensely sad story, made me want to cry. No wonder John in the future is such a hardass. I love how she learned her expressionless stare from him. I also like the possibility that she's not completely dead - if the CPU's intact its probably more like a coma. I'd love to see another one shot related to this, maybe where he meets her model again in the future and can bring "his" cam back online. Worth a thought I think.

Wow, I wasn't expecting him to salvage her CPU...or a chain gun. I thought you were going to have her core go nova like the 101 in T3, but this was good too.

You really did capture the essence of J-Day and the transformation of the John the Boy into John the leader! Not to mention the hint towards Kyle and Derek.

You did it well! The mood and feel of the dreaded day was tangible and i worked well.

The last moments between John and Cam were done great! And that he kept her Chip completed the cycle!

A nice story that would make a great final scene of the show. John meets his destiny and Cameron meets hers. However, Terminators are tough and maybe, just maybe, there is hope that the dead do not need to /stay/ dead in the future. There is always hope, so long as you keep fighting. 'Bob' and Cam taught him that.
