Awwww, at last. I do feel sorry for Randal. He had plans with Jack to buy a ranch together & start a life, then just like that it's over. Got dumped over the phone. Having your life turned upside down in less than a 5 minute conversation. Almost cold hearted.
As much as I like the fact that Jack and Ennis is together, it is never nice to break someone's heart so carelessly.

I like it! I think you did a good job showing what Ennis would do if he did come around to changing his mind. It's nice how you portrayed both of them and making it work realistically for how they are and what they want. :)

yeaaaaaah. Thats how it should have ended! Loved the movie but the ending was crappy and sad. Whenever i see it again i will think of your ending.

What? 4 long months and they didn't have a go on Jack's mattress? Oh Ennis, that should have been part of your apology!

Great read. I love Jack's ultimatum and how he didn't back down. It made Ennis realize what he had and what he did wrong. Very good. Thank you!

Aww.. i'm glad Jack and Ennis ended up together no one touches jack except for ennis.

I wish this happened in the movie you should of written the end for the movie then it would of made me cry for happiness rather than sadness.

Now you make me want to watch Brokeback mountain AGAIN for the 2nd time this week.

I loved this fic, although I hate it when Ennis is upset. And, yay, they got together finally! A happy ending.

Another wonderful story! I was glad Jack made Ennis work for it. I was honestly wondering up until 3/4 the way through it whether or not he was really going to take Ennis up on his offer or if he was going to send him packing. Guess its hard to turn away from something you've wanted for so long. :) He would have regretted it anyway. :)
