I loved this story esp, Kate's thoughts. I love the bit when she thinks "Screw it I'm leaving tomorrow." LOL I loved it. Though I felt you rushed the ending a little though. There wasn't time for Kate to sorta reflect about it a lot. So are you going to do this story from Mike's pov? I'd love to read it. Thanks for the awesome read!
