There is no plausible reason for Naruto to still fail the academy. The reason he failed in canon is because he had no one to help him and he didn’t really ever go to class. In your story he has been training since he was 5 and he still fails? It should have been obvious to Kakashi Naruto would never be able to create a regular clone because of his chakra levels. To me you are trying way too hard to make your Naruto the same one as canon which doesn’t make any sense because a) he has the sharingan and b) you already had him meet and befriend Sasuke. Anyways this is your fanfiction to write but I will no longer be continuing it. Peace Out

Sadness tends to make people not think right and make stupid decisions? Please your naruto is no different than canon the way your setting it up obviously if naruto had Kakashi and sasuke early in his life then would mature and gain knowledge better and think rationally having people in his life. They obviously would have seen that naruto needed to do the shadow clones rather than normal clones sorry but horrible writing.
