D'awwww. Very beautiful story. :) I especially like Watson's commentary as he reads the manuscript and then him giving Holmes a hard time over being a 'burden' - just messing him him. Good times, good times.

This is brilliant! Simply perfect. It took me forever to get through BLAN because I could not stop laughing when I imagined Watson reading the opening! This is marvelous. Your characterization, I think, is spot-on. And I was laughing helplessly pretty much the whole time.

I suppose one could say that Watson was forced into the role of Holmes' beta reader ;). That was quite funny, and very familiar, especially for fanfic authors, thank you!

Yep, not the first time I've come across this in my random wanderings through this fandom. I absolutely love this piece. It is a wonderful portrayal of the characters that has me hearing them quite clearly in my head. Thank you so very much for this.

When I read Blanched Soldier, I wondered what Watson's reaction to some of those lines would be. This totally made my day!

I have never read 'The Adventure of the Blanched Soldier' in it's original english form (in fact, i belive I've only read one original SH story in english...if at all, I am not quite certain at this moment) but it seems Holmes had even more troubble with writing then I remembered.

I really like this conversation. Not only for the fact that it is something a writer can identify itself with but also the friendship and humanity in it. Good work on your part once again

Absolutely brilliant! I laughed aloud all through that! Love bickering Holmes and Watson. I always wish Doyle had kept them living together into retirement. Doesn't seem right having them only keeping up a rather poor correspondence with each other... Love your writing! You've really captured the two of them and I love the way you write their relationship. Keep up the excellent work!
