That was very well written and I enjoyed it even though the material was sad. I liked your given reason for why Shinon dislikes sub-humans so much. I figure there has to be a good or at least decent reason. Shinon seems to be an overall good guy in the game even if he does have a mean outer shell :P

I've read three Shinon and Leanne things (only one was pairing, and I'm not counting this as pairing though if I squint...), and I think I really like reading the two of them together (as friends or as a pair, anything works for me). I would be a happy fan if you ever wrote more!

I liked it, it makes sense with who Shinon is, and I loved Leanne's part in it. I loved this. I loved this even though it made me want to cry. Beautifully written. Your style lent itself perfectly to the scattered way the human brain works, and still maintained a sense of beat. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

That certainly was an interesting "autobiography." I'd say you have a firm grasp on Shinon's characterization. Shinon must be pretty fun to write.

I wouldn't say this was one of your best, but it's still good writing. To be honest, I wasn't really feeling the story; I didn't sympathize with Shinon here as much as I probably should, and it's not because Shinon's a jackass. XD Almost anyone can make a sympathetic figure in the right situation. I think the parts where he describes his life and his sisters and the gangs and the squalor and shit he lived in weren't long enough. Meanwhile, the last two lines of Shinon's text are a little too wordy. But that's all just my opinion.

This was very moving. I consider myself a very difficult reader, but well, I was awed by your way of painting FE darkest realties. Just the way I can enjoy it ; with a right dose of optimist and compassion. Just enough for readers petulant like me to read it without feeling spoiled or disgusted. ;;

Wow...I think that captured Shinon's attitude perfectly. Just the way you describe all that pain he's gone through, his attitude about life makes so much sense. Amazing job with this; one of the best Shinon fics out there!

Just wow. I love his story, and his reasons for everything. It's all just brilliant. I love the ending too, but I wish there was a sequel. Seeing people's reactions to helping Leanne would be awesome.

It's sort of strange that I find better fics randomly than trying...Great interpretation to his character and life! I've always liked Shinon with his attitude. It added a different kind of flavour to the Greil Mercenaries and it always intrigues me as to why he admires Greil and hates Ike so much. I mean, it can't really be the power of leadership alone otherwise he shouldn't be that jealous of Ike. It's pure respect...the most honest quality about Shinon. Aside from Rolf and Gatrie, he gets along with Titania as well. What a sad life and quite an ironic ending. Atlas, a satisfying gap of curiosity filled in.

The voice is great, very Shinony. And it does cover/explain quite a good few things about him. Somehow, I have this feeling like something is off somewhere, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Ah well. Generally speaking, it is awesome Meelufic. We've been lacking in the awesome department lately.

This story is nothing short of awesome. I've always adored Shinon (moreso in FE10 than 9, since he's an amazing unit) and you've got his character just right. Loved the backstory, loved, well, everything. And the last bit with Leanne is great!

Wow. I am awestruck. This... This helps give Shinon the respect he's lost for his betrayal and his pompous attitude. You've helped give him a powerful voice... A shocking and yet chilling tale, and it's a pity that it was all spoken in vain. This fic was powerful, and masterful and,well, I can't find a single word to critique it. You've already warned us about the language, so, seriously, awesome job!
