| Sapient Pearwood chapter 1 . 9/13/2016 Right. Okay. Your writing is fine, but your characterization needs work. It's generating some pretty large plot holes. Why can't the mednin who was trained by Tsunade heal basic bruising and small cuts? That's all bite marks and hickies are. Wearing a dress and a scarf to training? Really? Dresses hamper mobility and wearing a scarf provides your opponent a handy tool to strangle you with. If you intended to write Civilian!Sakura or Geinin!Sakura you are spot on, but at this age Sakura is a highly competent med nin trained by Tsunade of the sannin. Body shyness, stupid fashion choices, and the sheer idiocy of not healing bite marks (which are highly prone getting infected) before engaging in training (dirt and salt from sweat in an open wound ) are not characteristic of a competent med nin. Tsunade would have trained (beaten) any habit or trait that would make Sakura a sub par or incompetent medic out of her . At this point in her life and training Sakura should be a badass. Don't do the character a disservice by making her less than the practical and fiercely intelligent Kunoichi she is. (P.s. It'd be a hell of a lot funnier if Itachi kept trying to mark her only to find it just wouldn't take.) |
