This is a great story. I hope you continue it. Nice to see humans being technologically advanced to rival the Goa'ould. keep the story up!

this is to long winded making it quite boring. it is 13 chapter with just enough info to make 4-5 chapters.
i also believe you messed to much with canon without taking in the consequenses

if a ship can detect a strange mineral on a new planet then whouldnt it have been detected on earth aswell, at the very least in the spaceship of osiris.
then ofc comes the question of seth who would by now have made some moves. or the asgard that lost the battle with the replicators and are extinct making the replicators come after milkyway

how can humans be space faring for 450 years and not encounter any naquada. seems very unlikely to me

To bad you let this story die it’s very good and you should consider finishing it.

If freaking love your story so far. There are two things that I don't get. In this chapter Lord Boreas resigns to the fact that his life is over in the face of 27 enemy ships. I feel like this is out of character for a Goauld. If Boreas was first prime then sacrificing himself would be a given. Through out the series Goauld have been shown as bargaining for their lives when in danger. They will sell out their masters or partners if they feel like it will serve their best interests. This constant back stabbing is the reason the System Lords have never truly United. Why is this Goauld so uncharacteristically loyal to Poseidon?

Second question has to do with Melinda Jacksons team. When they were racing through the forrest in earlier chapters and their weapons were nearly empty why didn't they even consider picking up the staff weapons? It seems they had a few opportunities to do so...
