You did an amazing job. You can tell how careful you were with each word choice to convey each scene and emotion. Your story flow and dialogue is smooth and believable. It was good in its way. It is too bad that it had to turn into a Cutting!Fic.

P.S. You need to change this sentence: "Blood smeared across the ground like a demented version of a child finger painting." This sounds awkward. It could be omitted, but the sentiment IS better illustrated with this particular sentiment. A suggested change would be "Blood smeared across the ground like macabre finger paint."

Remember though, blood is generally thin until it starts to clot.
