I actually really like the explanation of Draco managing the empire. Or rather, that the empire involved trade and manufacturing across international borders and wasn't just sitting back and counting inherited galleons in a vault. I think that's an underplayed Malfoy thing that you slip in periodically really well.

Also Draco hitting the point of the parties right on the head was hilarious. Yes, Harry Potter must shake hands with EVERYONE.

Goodness, those two are hopeless! So many miscommunicated thoughts, so much angst that could have been avoided (mostly on Harry's end)! Oh well, both versions of this were absolutely beautiful!

Personally, I enjoyed this version better mainly because the Harry version left me completely bewildered by Draco's attitude so reading this I understood the story a lot better. Harry was a little more predictable I got what he was thinking, Draco I has no idea what was going on in his head xD all in all though I love both, Veela stories aren't usually my thing but I made an exception an I enjoyed this double one shot x] nice job - tomoe toxic

Oh my...okay. In some specks I do get why Draco was being an ass. One minute your school rival wants nothing to do with you, then you're told that he needs your touch in order to live. It seems odd I get it. But I could have done without him being such an assclown to Harry.
