Great story! Very intense and deep! I really enjoyed it!

This is very nice! and so very true, how nobody care enough about the person next to us anymore, on the bus, on the street, anything... some people don't even know their neighbour! It's a sad reality and you've described it so very well, keeping our characters in and indeed, if you are dispassionate about the people around you, they're just like puppets and figurines moving around... thanks for sharing this.

Beautiful. I love the whiole puppets thing and not always naming them just referring to them as man and woman.

I think this was a very beautiful oneshot!

I loved to read it, the whole story was very exciting and I had no idea what was going to happen next.

The part where Stella's shot was awesome, Reading it I really thought she was dead.

Fantastic! I love reading your work. this was a brilliantly measured piece, the colours of grey and black, and the rain were perfect. Very tense, the movement of the characters and the idea of watching unseen. I know you've said you've never been to New york, but actually this is a very good feel of the city as a city. And it is true about looking up, though I do try to myself, to see what everyone else is missing! Keep writing.

The repeated theme of No one ever looks up is a great little refrain to the restrained tone of the piece. It has a cool feel to it, in spite of the dramatic action. This is very solid and interesting writing.
