This is a great realistic portrayal of shepard after the game ends. It's too bad I stumbled upon this too late. Maybe one day you'll come back and finish this.

Too bad this was abandoned. It was shaping up to be a great story.

What we have here is a good flow, decent characterization(I'm the first one to admit the Colonist/Sole Survivor Shepard probably has her share of mental problems, but despite that, this one still managed to come off as a little bit too emo, at least in the last chapter... still, nothing too major) and interesting new point of view, one of which I want to know more. All in all, an interesting story and one I would like to read more about.

All that is missing now... is an update.

I am going through your story, I only now discovered it. I am a Liara fan and I also have a fem shep (being one myself.) And I have to say, especially the last part where Liara speaks to Shepard... That's exactly why I chose Liara, because their union transcends the physical bonds, and they share feelings and emotions.

That last part gave me the chills. I can't wait to read the rest.

I know I am a late comer. I have a PS3 and just started with ME2. I love the Shepard and Liara story. I hope you were able to continue the story; I would be honored to read it. You are a fantastic writer.

Wow. I read the whole thing, and I didn't think that it was possible to become emotionally involved in a FanFic. You proved me wrong. I eagerly await an update.

After having read the whole story... I honestly don't quite know what to say. I just finished my 2nd playthrough of the game and figured I'd come on here and see what I could see involving Shepard and Liara. I'm quite glad I came across this story. It's obvious how much time and effort you've put into it (unlike my few ventures into writing fanfic *lol*). I hope that, should I end up writing again at some point in the future, I can produce something this well-done.

That scene with the grandfather clock was really good, imo. It conveyed Leonard's loss to me in a very real way.
