Eh it's only been nine years, there's still a chance right?

Hey, Hotpoint. Dunno if you remember me (or if you'll even get this), but I'm Crazy Minh, the guy who attempted to riff your XSGCOM fanfic a while back. Happened across this story, and I have but one complaint.

They don't speak Greek. They obviously speak English, and all the signage is in English, including the nameplates for the Battlestars (you can clearly see that both the Pegasus and the Galactica have their names spelled with English letters on their flight pods. Also, there's many references to Norse mythology and even Egyptian history throughout the show, so the use of Greek exclusively does not work at all)

Other than that, you clearly have written a great story, although your SPaG could use some work as usual.

This story is excellent. One thing I always found a bit odd was how the Cylons could 'logically' think out just about anything could actually say it was the Colonials that broke the armistice when they flew a recon ship across their border... however no one looks at one tiny factoid. The armistice called for an annual meeting between the cylons and the Colonials at Armistice Station to maintain communications, a meeting which the cylons never showed up for. That meeting was a stipulation of the Armistice itself, so the Cylons were in fact in violation of the armistice after year 1 yet the Colonials never invaded. Resuming hostilities at any point after that violation would have been well within their right to do, if the citizens of the colonies could have been convinced it was a good idea. And let's not forget their other violation: many of the agents they sent into the colonies were there for far longer than 6 years. So they sent agents to recon and keep an eye on the colonies early on so as to make sure they weren't gearing up for an invasion, which was exactly what the stealthstar was designed to do. Using that incursion as an excuse for genocide just doesn't hold up.

Even though i know this story will likely never be updated. It is gettint a follow and favorite from me anyways.

I know/knew nothing about battletech before finding this story and now you made me want to learn more about it.

Also I love how you are handling the crossover elements keep up the good work.

Just a great read. Really wish it didn't end the way it did. At least kept it up until the attack on the refinery. Other then that and a few random spelling errors, just a damn good read.

I've just finished re-reading this for the... I've lost count how many times (here, over at Spacebattles or on the CBT forum), which I think just goes to show just how good a story is. All the BSG charecters are there to how they were on the show, and the OC's you created are fully fleshed out and not simple cardboard cutouts with a voice. You had some interesting takes on the tech and tactics, pushing both in new but believable ways.

I do hope that, one day, you decide to return to this particular crossover, because there are still stories to tell and (mis)adventures to be had.

One of the saddest things about this fic entering cryosleep is not getting to see the Cylons reaction when they realise that the Ones pulled a Stefan Amaris on the entire Cylon race.

Well you finally gave it its own story emblem. Maybe there is hope for this stories resurrection.

Okay its not a bad crossover. Its rather written and I do enjoy how its moving. Nice twist using Clan Wolverine in the story, but also having them find New Caprica before the Twelve tribes discover it. That was an extremely harsh and cold world, yet I have noticed that you have placed changes to the world, like actual trees.

I've spent the past couple of days re-reading this on my phone (isn't modern technology wonderful?), and even though I've read it and re-read it several times before, it still feels fresh. I know from sites like SpaceBattles and CBT that you've got a lot on, but I'd just like to say that, I for one would be very interested to see this continue at some point.
