This is, to date, one of my favorite works on this site. Period. Even favored among a few comparable, published works, I'll add.

Truly, my expectation for this story, after too quickly making assumptions in the beginning chapters, was no where near the place you finally brought them.

Beyond everything, it was your imagination and clever knack for embellishing the settings and circumstances that your (and Kubo's) characters found themselves in. The dynamic and development of the characters were consistent, and beautifully enriched by the complex emotional dilemmas and personal devotions to the world and people around them. Even the nature and tone of your writing took a subtle, but notable turn toward a maturer voice that, just as a character might, changes with the wisdom and sophistication of experience.

Yes, as with many informal works written simply for enjoyment and love of the fandom, there were some moments of convoluted diction, discordant syntax, Mary-sue moments, etc... Yet, despite those pesky distractions, they could not detract from the overall impact of any given scene. Brava, that is its own accomplishment.

Anyway, as it appears to have been seven years since you completed this, I won't hold my breath for a sequel. But who knows - I have this habit of revisiting old favorites and checking in, even years later. I look forward to any updates, as it has been an immense pleasure, and wish you all the best with your pursuits, cheers ~

The story was amazing I wish you had done a sequel. Your creative imagination was so entertaining. It brought all emotions even tears to me.

Even though there were some mistakes as you said it was not off putting at all. Love Shun teasing his sister about finding his friend attractive. My brothers did that to me growing up. Such a realistic scene.

Love the rewrite out shunsui family. I always liked him and had wished him to have a happy loving family life and now he does! Your writng techniques are good and character development is paced just right. You've taken the characters and made them your own with a good story. Excellent job.

Never means "younger" sister. Onee or Onii are always used for the older sibling, oneechan would be just a form of calling the older sister with adoration.

This story was breathtaking. Shunsui and Juushiro were both written wonderfully in character and all of your OC's were amazing. I loved Souta and was so upset to see him die, but I think it was beautiful how he gave his life up for Saya. Saya and Juushiro are such a lovable couple and have endured so much, I'm glad they are finally together and happy again. The ending was magnificent as well and I loved that it ended with Shunsui and Saya on the roof. You mentioned writing a sequel and I hope you still plan on writing it because I will definitely look forward to reading it. You are such a gifted writer and I had a great time reading this story. This story is truly amazing and beautiful and so good I can't even put it into words. Saya is an amazing character and I love how you write Shunsui and Juushiro. This chapter was so perfect. The note Saya wrote to Shunsui nearly made me tear up and the punishment she received had me shouting at my computer. I hope she isn't forced out of her promise to Juushiro and they'll be reunited soon. I can't wait to continue reading this. XOXO
