Vaneth, I was reading ff rant forum on unfinished stories. I noticed you stated 'if you want a finished story, read a book'. Yet you try to justify your unfinished stories with excuses on your profile.

Why bother with excuses - which are lame and readers have heard them all before - if that's how you feel? It's quite obvious that your thing is not finishing stories and by that 'read a book' comment, you don't give a damn if your readers want to see it finished or not.

Be real.

... You used the 'anime' version of this arc then?

At first, you had me really confused, because there were a few scenes that I have no recollection of taking part in.. And seeing how I just finished that arc, I was quite certain of that. At first I thought you were just adding stuff to make it flow more until the mako scene. XD I watched that mini scene on YouTube for the hell of it (and was a little annoyed at how weak they made Zack seem... As well as how much uglier they made all the characters, lol), so I know that ending was the anime one... Lol xD I find myself liking the game's one much better.

But.. Meh, whatever. Nice fic I love the ones that Zack doesn't die, though there arent many of the type in which he continues on with Cloud in his adventures.

What happened to Tseng's ambition to deliver those letters, anyway? He was having one of those titanic pathos things. It was cool. What happened to all that? Nobody in this story has actual emotional reactions. They just do things and say things. And sometimes have thoughts explaining what they're not saying. Meh.

I thought SOLDIER Second Class wore purple. Huh.

Sukueni was kind of cool, though. And I liked Zach's moment of 'oh yeah, I'm good.'

Heh. So complicated. I really hope Cloud gets to do something eventually-am fairly certain Zach's power-up potential was not extended nearly as far as Cloud's by becoming part of the second phase of Project S, but maybe he just died before reaching those epic heights of oops-the-final-boss-is-too-easy-for-your-levelgrinding.

Also, don't know what all happens in the Turk game, although I've heard they've got still another account of what happened in the Nibelheim reactor. Gah. At least Zach's account can be understood if Cloud's original flashback is assumed to have been fit together from fragments of two different people's memories. So, anyway, may be missing something with that storyline.

Also, I think Zach is just a little TOO laid-back to draw the audience in. There was a lot of powerful emotion under a lot of his lines, and he had a flair for the dramatic, though not to the ridiculous heights of the previous generation. (I went and watched all the cutscenes over again on youtube recently.) You turned on his emotions a little, really abruptly, in the middle of the mission, but it wasn't a natural progression and not very moving.
