Fabulous work - I can see them there before me! You've caught Mrs. Lovett's amoral amiability precisely. Love the Lucydead/crushed leaf analogy, too. Sad and funny - just like the movie!

This is great! You have their characters down- this might have been another scene in the film/play. Very poignant- the line “She was dead all the time I was in Australia" got to me especially- and I liked the extra insight into Mrs. Lovett's motivation. I hope you'll write more for this fandom!
