This was fun. And a bit creepy as the car got more sexually possessive of Dean. It makes me think of how often I've seen people wishing for an episode where Baby becomes an actual woman (which would mean an episode where they all walked everywhere, LOL). Great job!

So glad I found this story, what a treat it was! Could so imagine Dean finding that four leaf clover and making that wish, then so living to regret it as his car then had the hots for him and was jealous of Sam!

Not surprised Sam was worried enough to call Bobby as it turned out Bobby was just as concerned at what 'idjit' Dean had gone and done!

Perfect dose of injured Sam, loopy on meds and an exasperated Bobby. So funny how the old hunter just happened to be holding a four leaf clover when he wished Sam would shut up, though so not funny to the youngest Winchester! Did grin knowing Bobby would now have to find two more of them! At least he managed to find one and release Dean from his wish but by then he had puked in the Impala, though trust it to be on Sammy's side of the seat!

Great ending Dean joining in the search and coming up with the plant and just loved how he wished Sam back as he was two days ago so no more broken arm!

A really great fic, and nice to read it now when Season 4 has the brotherly relationship more than a little battered around the edges.

Great fic! and i completely get how you feel! s3 final made me so depressed too, i swore never to watch it again (that's changed since) but it wasn't really Dean dying that made me sad, i think it's cause i was scared s4 would be very heavily Dean centred! Thankfully it's not as bad as i thought. I'm not a s3 fan but it did have the greatest ep of the series: BDABR! So it wasn't all for nothing. Anyway, loved the fic, awesome idea!

It's funny. Your note at the end of the story was a small part of why I haven't been to the site at all in almost a year. With a few exceptions, this season was a bit...grim. And the fics have been, well... Anyways, onto the review.

A nice, tidy ending. Bobby saves the day in the nick of time, and the brothers are once again ok, and closer than ever.

Loved Bobby's awkward explaination of why he was still picking clovers. With the exception of Dream a Little Dream (horrible episode in my opinion) Bobby has never really shown any errors in judgement. It was fun to see him fallible.

Sammy's all better. The sick, twisted Limp!Sam part of me was a little bummed that all his ills had been fixed, but the rational part of me was happy Dean made that exact wish.

The epilogue was very well executed. The apologies, the unspoken love, and the goodnatured ribbing were perfectly blended. The last line was great, as well. Always good to end on a laugh.

A few chapters ago you apologized for this story, that it wasn't your usual fare. Yeah, so? You've done comedic stories before, just as the normally dark show has done it's funny episodes. Never apologize for your work. It's your vision, and your right to create it however you darn well please.

Ok, lecture over. ) Besides which, this story kicked butt!

I keep forgetting to comment on something. I love the effort and detail you put in when you're writing in Bobby's POV. I don't recall if the show ever said where he's from, but he definitely has a very distictive and southern way of speaking. Lines like this The kid was kin to two of the orneriest hunters Bobby had ever had the pleasure of whelping. show how much you care and value the show and its characters. Plus, it makes me smile to read the words "orneriest" and "whelping". )

Concussed Dean and Dopey Sam. Can't wait for the conversations these two'll have. Once Bobby obtains another clover, that is.

I also loved the visual of Bobby full out tackling Sam. lol
