Even though I did think once that the way Sam keep yelled at Dean so angrily and mentioned many very hurtful thing to him, was kind of too off.

Only the close one and the involved one would notice in the end !

WHOA! Sam shooting himself to save Dean .. a shocker I did not see coming! Good emotional story. Like the aftereffects of talking about the rock salt. Bet it stings!

You did some great things with this one. I always feel so inadequate trying to review the stories that I really really really like because I think that everything was so perfect that you must understand that already and why bother pointing anything out in particular when I could just as easily point to any other sentence in the piece and it would fit in just as well. But I really did like this one. Dean is wrestling with some really heavy issues with his Dad's sacrifice and the one he contemplated. Hinting at the exchange he will end up making at the end of the season. Sam's right that he can't see how loved/needed he is, but he'll still respond to Sam when the guy's nose is bleeding. Watching him completely shut down after Sam yelled at him was terrible, but written so very well. And then it kept on building and I was wondering what was going on because this wasn't like Sammy but of course Dean understood that and everything ended up being okay in the end.

Awww * glomps Dean , then carefully hugs Sam so as to not hurt him any more than he already is** said lovingly* Sammy , you idiot , shooting yourself with rock salt geez were you trying to kill yourself?

Loved the twist in this, Sam getting mojoed by a wraith, certainly didn't see that coming, though maybe the nosebleeds should have been a clue for me! Great that they finally managed to talk, well mainly Sam, getting to say what he needed to, telling Dean he mattered to him. And again you had Dean in perfect big brother mode, once he realised what was going on.

This was a really creative story! The nosebleeds were kind of creepy, especially when the reason for them was revealed. I was relieved when we found out that Sam was possessed by the wraith-his jabs against Dean were really cruel. You wrote the climax really well, with Sam fighting against the wraith's influence. I was just as shocked as Dean to find that Sam had shot himself. As always, your descriptions are right on and extremely vivid, drawing me right into the action.

wow...that was really creative! I never would have expected Sam to shoot instead of Dean after the talking Dean gave him. it was really good!

have you noticed that it's always Sam that gets possessed? and he's the one that always ends up with the supernatural girls. Jess is killed by a demon, he gets possessed by ellicot, he he beds a werewolf, followed by a demon. it never ends, does it!

I loved the way Sam finally got to say what he needed to say to Dean. I loved the way Sam got himself influenced by a wraith and then shot himself (no matter how bad that sounds...) because it was what finally spurred the conversation into happening.

I think I just fell in love with Sam and Dean all over again. This story was so overflowing with emotions, just gut raw emotions, that it completely caught me off guard and overwhelmed my senses. What a powerful and moving story. It wasn't even so much about the story, but about survival and what they have with each other that got to me. It is a true testament to how great a writer you are that they can be so in sync with each other's needs that you don't even have to expain with words, you just see it through the actions. Just great. Wonderful job.

I love this story. It never gets old, no matter how many times I read it!
