i like the story very much. i just finished reading it. i like the once a man and this to. this story is funny, and also so trailing. and i like all the pairings.. specially vincent/hojo. like it all!

Nice story.

I think this was my third time reading through this (and Once a Man) and I enjoyed it just as much now as I did the first time. This whole story (both parts of it) is beyond brilliant. There's something incredible about the way you've managed to write large parts of the story from both Hojo and Vincent's point of views and making it interesting. Normally, I find reading the same story from two POVs just boring, but reading this has been anything but. I love both your Vincent and your Hojo and the way they see everything that happened between them so differently. It's very realistic, and just downright awesome. I also love they way you made Lucrecia the bad guy, because honestly, the only thing I've ever hated about Vincent is they way he's so stupidly in love with the pathetic little b***h. ... How can this story have only about 60 favorites!? People don't know what they're missing. I can't imagine anyone reading this and not loving it, because this is some serious quality work, as is proven by the fact that I'm reviewing at all (because I'm lazy when it comes to reviewing). Come to think of it, this review is starting to look a little... long. So, to summarize: This work is awesome. You are awesome. I love it/you very muchly :) -rrenvy

I have to say, when I began reading 'Once a Man' I didn't have very high expectations, but as I do have a liking for somewhat unusual slash -pairings, I simply had to give it a try. And when I began reading... I couldn't stop. And when I did finish, it was already way past midnight (perhaps around 2 or 3 AM) but I still HAD to start reading 'Now a Monster', promising myself I'll just read the first chapter and then go to bed. The next thing I knew it was past 4:30... I finished reading today and the whole journey has been simply Marvelous. Touching, funny, realistic, well written and all around entertaining. I cannot find the words to accurately desribe how much I loved reading this. I love the way you have succeeded in both sticking to canon and deviating from it in a perfect blend. I love the way you positively brought both Hojo and Vincent to life. I thank you for sharing this (and thank my luck for coming across it).

It's 2.45 where I am and I just finished reading "Once a Man" and "Now a Monster" in one go and I have to say that it's brilliant. Also I am now a dedicated Vincent/Hojo shipper, am really glad that someone else spotted plotholes in Lucercia's story and thankfully over the shock that my subconsious ships Reno/Cloud (TWO dreams in that subject in one night...)
