Hiya there MisterP, thank you for writing one of the two abilityshipping stories on this site. I wish people would write more about Ash and Anabel. I only read about them recently, and Anabel really seems to have feelings for Ash. Please write some more abilityshippings!

This was my first ever story I ever read from you. This story actually got me to ship Abilityshipping. This story is short and simple, yet shows how much love there is.

The lumping of the crowd of Pokemon was very cheesy, but other than that this is a work of fan-fiction master-class. 9000/9000

The best valentine's day story ever!

Daaaw, how cute. You know, it's funny. I never really watched a whole lot of the Pokemon series, especially after Kanto and the Orange League, so I most of what I know as far as the characters go is solely from the games. I did, however, see the episodes involving Anabel. Funny how just a few episodes made me into a shipper.

I don't even really read Pokemon fics, but I felt a sudden urge to go read a AbilityShip fic. I just think they're very cute together. I always do seem to end up in the minority when it comes to shipping preferences, for any series. Go figure. It just warms my heart all the more when I find quality fluff.

Anywho, enough of me talking about my quirks. Here's my actual review.

Your story is well written in terms of grammar and spelling. My grasp of the English language is very good and I only saw one or two mistakes. It's a fairly minor problem, however. I would say you are fine in that area.

As for characterization, well... As I said, I don't follow the anime too much anymore, and I don't think you get much representation of character from the games. That said, unless he's really matured recently, I think Ash seems kind of off. Mostly, it's the way he's talking. He's just using words and phrases in ways I don't really expect to hear from him, and it sort of breaks the reader's focus away from the story itself. I'm mostly referring to parts of Ash's speech such as "You see, I really had the potential and capability of reading your heart, Anabel." The best thing I could advise is that you tone down on the maturity he is speaking with.

Anyway, the only other problem I had with your story was when all the Pokemon came out of the wood-works to watch and cheer as Ash and Anabel cheered. It just seems cheesy, to be blunt. If you had stopped at the Luvdisc, it would have been fine. But it seems far too overly dramatic when two teenagers in the middle of the woods coming together for a simple kiss draws out a giant crowd of cheering Pokemon.

That aside, I still think your story was superb. You wrote this quite a while ago, so you may have improved greatly since then. You might have even stopped coming to this site for one reason or another. But whatever your current situation is, I wish you luck whenever it comes to your writing!

This is really nice. I honestly prefer Ash x Dawn but I still enjoyed this story.

It's very romantic for Ash and Anabel their heart's where finally together once again .
