I've always felt that between Nash and Chris, there's this inexplainable connection that's just greater than a simple friend. While if you played as others, Nash just leave like that. But when you played as Chris, he directly come to say a goodbye. Moreso in the offcial Manga. Granted, it seems like Chris have a charm that could attract many men, like Borus (It's plain as day that he has a huge crush on Chris, especially in Manga), Persival (He seems to greatly admire Chris, in Manga they directly showed it.), and finally Nash... His flirtings are cheap towards Chris, but I think he has some feelings toward Chris.

Simple, yet extraordinarily beautiful.

This is a great oneshot. Excellent use of language; your characterization expands on canon beautifully. I especially like your using Chris and Sierra as foils. "Long ago, he had left that wide river behind..." great paragraph. You've packed a lot into a short piece.

Some concrit:

1. Typo: "there is a reason [he] no longer fights with a sword".

2. Metaphors/similies/images: Every single last one you use is great, some are brilliant. But I think you use too many. When they build up like that, they become commonplace and lose their impact.
