Glad I took the bait; this is a cute story. I like how you handled Ryou's lingering fears and that line about how Anzu couldn't possibly say, "Just let it go," to Yugi was perfect. I'm also with comet7 on this one - the line about them walking in the dark was a nice touch.

I thought the idea of there being frequent blackouts because of the amount of energy being consumed at KaibaCorp was very clever!

Jounouchi's reaction to the phone call at the end was also spot-on. And you pulled it together quite nicely at the end. Good going with the creampuffs reference, as well. :)

All in all, I've got no complaints!

This was sweet. Anzu is so good. :)

I liked the sentence, "Somehow walking with someone so timid and scared gave Anzu confidence in the dark." That felt very realistic.

Poor Ryou! He's my favorite character from Yu-Gi-Oh, and you wrote him so well! And you don't hate Anzu for whatever bizare reason people have. Everyone seems in-character, too.

Your plot's nice. I've seen 'Ryou-recovering' but never 'Yugi&Friends-help-Ryou-recover-as-a-group.' For some reason, fandom 'Yugi&Friends' are incapable of acting in friendship to help Ryou without drama... Anzu initiating that aid's an angle I've never seen- but I love it!

Great story. The way you captured the feelings of Ryou was really in charater. Epspecially also Bakura, and his sick habits that intill fear in his victims. It's good to see how friends are there to help you out, no matter what. I really loved this story. Good job.

Aw. So sweet. It's very interesting too, especially since character interaction between these two is mostly non-existant.

This was so beautifully written. Some people don't like Anzu but in your story she is the best friend Ryou has and now the others are coming to give him their support because that's what friends do. I'm adding this to my favorite list.. Great Story...
