Very well written, touching piece.

This was wonderful, and I am left with a rather mangled heart. I am a sucker for fics involving Obi Wan interacting with Luke, as well as for fics involving Luke's early life on Tatooine or Obi Wan's exile. This fic blew any and all expectations out of the water. Thank you so much for writing it!

Beautiful work.

A touching story! I wanted to cry for Obi-Wan! I love his character so much, and he is undoubtedly my favorite Prequel trilogy character! And it's sad to see Luke being "misunderstood" and yet we know Owen had Luke's best interests at heart.
This was written very well! Good job.

On a literary note, though. There were some spelling and punctuation errors. Other than that, this was an amazing story!

Loved every bit of it! The characterizations of all the characters were spot on, and I absolutely loved this part were Luke described the harvest:

"So you help your uncle with the farm?" Ben asked casually as he pulled out a sand colored poncho from his expansive old chest.

"Every day." Luke replied with a nod from where he sat perched on the edge of the counter, legs swinging idly back and forth. "Sometimes it's hard cause it's like nothing seems to be happening at all, there's just sand, sand, and more sand and then harvest comes and poof! Everything's suddenly alive."

wow this is one of the oldest stories I have ever reviewed. I just wanted to say that Beru and owen's character were very well written, and that's saying something because i don't really care for them much. This was a really good piece of work. BITD

Aw, what a beautiful piece once again, fyre :) By any chance, was it inspired by a certain scene in Children of the Jedi? It really reminded me of when Luke thinks about something similar in his past, so I was truly glad to finally find a story about that particular Force accident in his life :) Great characterizations, terrific action, and bittersweet secrets... What more can a girl ask for ;)

Wow. This story just totally blew me away. All of the characters are so true to canon - not just in the facts but in their thinking and attitudes - that it is so easy to connect them with the Luke, Ben, etc. that we see in ANH.

I'm not sure what else to say, but I really did love this story. And I'm going to read some of your other stories.

I loved the way you portrayed little Luke. So innocent and clueless as to his "uncle's" attitude toward his abilities. I loved the validation he got from Obi-Wan. He would have been so much more self-assured if he could have had more of Obi's influence growing up. However it does give writers a chance to develope Luke angst over the years! Still writing Star Wars? Could you be convinced to , if you aren't right now? If so, please e-mail me and let me know. I loved this!

This was an extremely well written story, I really like the characterization on Luke and Ben. A thouroughly enjoyable story, my compliments.
