This was a very good sequel and at least one aspect of Xander and Buffy's relationship was challenged in the form of Angel. But my question is, Where was Faith? Faith could have been a very good female foil for Buffy. You know how she was when she first showed up; all competitive and trying to take Buffy's stuff. Not a stretch she'd try to take her Boyfriend too. Still, this was very good.

This is woefully under reviewed for such a great story. A fine dramatic sequal to the first story and its a shame we will probably never see that third story.

I have to disagree with Drake, and it has something to do with Buffy's personality. Even in the show her and by extension a Slayer's death wish is clearly defined. A part of them is self-sacrificing and even wants to die. As such while she still loved angel enough to chance death for him I do think her original choice to let him die was a very telling sign of how she was in love with Xander and had grown out of that need to die for her friends. Honestly I don't think it would of mattered who was dying if she cared about them. As such she saw a chance to save his life and her self-sacrificing nature took over without people there to stop her.

I think on some level it had nothing to do with love or choices, Slayers do have a wish to die, in some ways it probably helps them get the job done. But it makes listening to people who care about you all the more harder to do.

How the heck can she lie to his face like that? All she knew is that the cure would kill the whoever saved Angel. She can't live without him but was willing to die for someone else?
What a cow, Xander just forgave her? He loves her, but I don't think he could really like her, cause in the end she chose Angel over him. To die for Angel rather than live with him.

Very cool! Considering you're a B/A shipper, B/X is very well done! I like the fact that Buffy didn't just forget Angel exists, how she dealt with it (and obviously how she chose Xander)

okay, i know i said this before, but this was sooo awesome! i swaer, i got addicted and i read all the way from chapter 10 to 53 in one day! i honestly never thought i would support a buffy/xander pairing, but it happened, and i wish there were more to read. oh well, i'll get started on your other stories now,stop bothering you.

Good story can't wait for the sequal to the sequal.

Great story so far. Sadly, I haven't had a chance to read the rest But I'll put out an effort to finish in a couple of days. Until then keep writing.

Already read and loved both this and the prequel elsewhere, but now I can read them again. :)
