You had the Alliance allow an enemy pilot that they can't trust and are attempting to keep at least somewhat confined to keep a lightsaber. A weapon they damn well know can cut through nearly anything and deflect blaster bolts.

Not only are they doing that, they think it's Ben Kenobi's lightsaber, and she scrounged it from the Death Star. Luke is just going to let any random person take the only thing that's left of his mentor? Really.

This is, hands down, the single most retarded thing I've ever read in any story, ever. Congratulations, you won the stupid tournament.

A great pity this has not been updated in so long. Granted I'm one to talk, given my own record, but I do understand life can and does get in the way.

Having said that, I must say I'm impressed. Mara Jade is one of my favorite characters, and her death is one of the reasons I refuse to read beyond a certain point in the Expanded Universe timeline (the cause of her death, her nephew Jacen turning to the dark side, is another reason). You show her gradual disaffection with the Empire quite well, and I have no problem with the two year time skip.

I hope you are able at some point to resume this.

mara needs a little more sarcasm and spite. also i doubt the rebel command would've wanted luke to pick up stragglers nor would they have been able to see how valuable she was nor what she have followed piecefully (she would've shot at somebody) nor would palpatine's brainwashing have let her.

Where is the update? We want more! In three days it will have been FIVE MOUNTHS since your last update. Where are you?

The original trilogy would have been better done like this. MARA JADE! MARA JADE! MARA JADE! She's my favourite character and it's good to see her in the most important part of the Star Wars Universe instead of being an add-on by Tim Zahn. They should make a TV series about her.

Anyway, good story keep it going and when's the next one going to be published?

A different take on Mara/Luke. I'm liking it. Can't wait for more chapters as I found this and read all 11 chapters in one go. keep up the good work.
