MF72 chapter 1 . 2/13/2008 Amazing! Are you planning on writing more? |
cwby30 chapter 1 . 2/11/2008 Afternoon, Donna. Well, another good one for the guys. Liked the premise, how Jack faked his death and it had untoward results on Ennis. Good thing Lureen didn't throw away the tackle box! Then what? Would Jack have finally gone to see Ennis? Called him? Can't see as how he would just shrug his shoulders and not even try to contact Ennis if Ennis didn't contact him. Interesting how this time they used their know-how to fix up the place first, before heading right off to herding cattle, etc. Liked the conversation between them and the tension with the guy at Home Depot. Could have been real bad. Also, different to have Lureen hunt Jack down, and then let it go. I think she and Jack would have decided to have a quiet divorce in Colorado, just in case Lureen would want to marry again. And, they need to stop any potential legal issues later on. And, think Jack should close that bank account and open another with Ennis! No sense in letting Lureen and her lawyer have any other opportunities to snoop. Getting the divorce would also keep Lureen's clutches away from the account. But, all that's for a second chapter if you ever decide to carry on. Have you on my "Author Alert List," so will hear about anything new. Haven't forgotten about A Path Not Taken; still have the first draft, never have re-written it, may finish it someday, and will send it on if ever. Thanks again. |
Firefly-class chapter 1 . 2/10/2008 only if it really ended like that! Great job, this was a nice story. |
