| darthxerik chapter 2 . 7/30/2013 Star Wars was my first movie obsession, culminating with the premiere of Episode III when I was 13 years old. Darth Vader/ Anakin was my favorite character. This morning I woke up with the words "You were right about me..." in my mind and I thought "where is that from...?" I saw Loki laying on the floor in a pool of blood whispering those words to Thor, but those words were from something else! "Episode 6! Oh my gosh..." I gasped. Anyway, I'm on a Star Wars kick today, and I remembered browsing through your stories that you wrote a few Star Wars ones. Thanks for sharing, this is quite good and is giving me Vader feels. :D |

I only glanced at your list of published stories and, unless my eyes deceived me, I don't believe you've published any more wonderful Darth Vader moments. I respect you for only writing when good ideas come to you and not writing about a character just to write a story about them. Instead you wait until you can think of something worthy of that character and you have more than done this with Vader. He is the most compelling character from the Star Wars saga, Han Solo being a close second. The emotion that he conveys even from behind that black mask is palpable at times, especially in ROTJ, as he draws close to his ultimate redemption. All this to say, I love this story and feel that you captured the spirit of Darth Vader perfectly. Sorry for all the blabbering! I'm just so happy after reading this! Good luck with all further writing and may your muse be kind to you! :) |
