I loved the playful sarcasm:

“What did you fantasize about back then?”

“Before we were together?”

“Yeah.”

“Honestly?”

She nodded, mentally replying, “No, I want you to lie.”

You had another section in the previous story (along similar sarcastic playfulness)...I really love it, especially because it is the same sense of humor that my husband & I have!

This was so sweet! (er, no pun intended) I love the little glimpse into their lives together, very realistic, in character, and ... SWEET! (can't think of another term right now...)

This is quite possibly one of the best glimpses into Grissom and Sara's relationship, and, even more, into Grissom's thought life, that I have ever read. Way too many fics go down the sexual fantasy road with Grissom, but this is the one fantasy I could truly see him having. I think he really did always want to take care of Sara ... and, she's someone who, at her very core and over all her vocal protests, could use someone to take care of her.

This is a beautifully written fic. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

That was very cute! I love when Grissom is like this. All sweet and in his "anything for Sara" mode. But I think he's always like that. Happy to be with her. I just watched "Ending Happy" and I'm all GSR-bubbly! lol! Great job.

I love GSR. I love this little story. The small intimate moments that we are left to fill in from the show. I think that is what makes GSR so fabulous. They give us just enough to entice, but let our imaginations do the rest.
