Holy crap! Don't know what it is with me lately, but I have been seeking out fics like this. Where it's a 'fated love' tale. Sometimes I am just in the mood for one. And you did an amazing job with this.

“There was time when I could hate you.” She wasn’t sure if she meant it as a joke.

He swallowed hard, his voice deep, “There was a time when I couldn’t make you cry.”

That was my favorite part, held such impact! Love it!

I really liked this. you captured the intensity well, i loved the "there was a time.." lines. Very well done.

I feel like if you reworded some of your endings, this one included, things would be better. Like you try to make them a certain way, but it changes the mood of the story... like the point of the ending was right, but because of how it was writen, i stopped feeling the tears and wistfulness of the story...
