Well, I finished this story and it was absolutely fantastic and put together nicely with a lovely ending. I came back to this chapter because on your profile it says to point our any English mistakes to help you (even though it's almost been a decade since you've finished this and I don't even think you're active here anymore). I just wanted to say (for the sake of not confusing number values in America) that the English thousand divider is a comma rather than the decimal, which is more common around the of the world. (EXAMPLE50,000 fifty grand while $50.000fifty dollars)

Maybe the terrorist group is just taking advantage of the two agents being missing. If that was the kidnappers real motive, they wouldn't have taken Gideon and JJ. The note said two for two, so they wouldn't need more. It also means the rest of the tean really is in danger, not that there's many left.

Why is he doing this?

There were only two beds inthe room, so unless he's got other rooms like that, I'm guessing the rest of the team is safe. Of course, that probably partly depends why he is kidnapping them.

This was a great story to entertain myself with while I spent the afternoon on hold with the government phone lines, lol. I could be in a really crappy mood right now, but instead I feel better than good!

Poor Garcia! And poor poor Reid. He wasn't kidnapped this time, but he was definitely restrained against his will. I think he had it hardest because he was alone and responsible to find everyone, while Dobson was off on his own tangent. At least the rest of the team was together and certain no one was dead yet.

You did a great job writing Dobson. I never once thought he was the bad guy, but I certainly felt he was too focused on being In Charge and Right rather then on hearing (Reid) any other possible directions the investigation could take.
