The end confused me a little, but overall, the fic was really sad, but very good.

There really aren't enough stories with bittersweet endings out there. I mean, yeah, fluff is nice, but honestly, it gets a bit suffocating after too much, and you need a nice, grounded fic like this to breathe again. So sad, but so realistic..

And that little, tiny glimmer of happiness and hope peeking out from behind the clouds, with them reconciling... Nicely done!

aw now, see, THAT ended much more like real life and much less like a movie. not so much a perfectly sweet happy ending, and more like a real life sorta-happy-but-not-romantic-kinda-happy-ending.

Woah Katie. This was intense, I loved it. As much as I like Troyella it's very different than your usual tone so great job! I also really liked how strong Gabriella was instead of how people usually portray her as crushed or devastated.
