This made me smile, it was a really sweet story. I always pictured Riley as a person that would get sick just because he had a deadline to meet. Lucky him for having Ben but otherwise I think Abigail would take care of him. Take care and see you in another story

I wonder why you said it had a little slash? I saw no slash, just some this brothers would do for each other. Or a father for a son. Still one of my favorite stories.

I liked it. I thought it was cute. I like Ben and Riley togehter even though Ben totaly takes Riley forgranted in the movies.

As a rule, I don't "squee", but if anything was ever going to make me "squee", it would be this story. It's beyond sweet. I love it.

Aw, how cute. I LOVED the way you wrote about Riley drawing a blank - that's EXACTLY how it feels! Excellent job portraying it. I could definetly sympathize. That's actually what I was doing all last night... until 4 am... ew. Poor Riley.

One tiny thing that plucked at my brain was that I don't think you can get a fever that high simply by sitting in front of a window. I could be wrong. But I thought a fever was the result of an infection in the bloodstream, and the heat was your body trying to kill off the infection. So maybe the coldness exacerbated (I hate that word) a preexisting condition. Maybe his immune system has gone downhill because of lack of sleep and proper meals and he's started developing flu or pharyngitis or some such form of fun. Eh. Again, doesn't really matter. Still love this to death, it's so sweet!
