I just adore how you talk about seeing the 'real Kristoph' the whole time, it fits so well with his nature of never really being himself, even though Phoenix always knows better. I'm curious as to why you switched from his Japanese to English names between stories, though honestly I hardly noticed. In any case, I love you.

Srsly, what's the big deal with only getting two reviews here? Doesn't make the slightest sense in the desert...unless people are dissatisfied with the pairing. The pairing is rather odd, but completely natural at the same time, and I think you captured Phoenix' and Kristoph's relationship just perfect.

I really do like this pairing- which is weird, because it's like the oppositice of Miles/ Phoenix, but something about their power play and complete lack of trust in each other is attractive in its own way. You captured the dynamic perfectly.

At first I was like "WTF?" about the pairing, but it turned out really well. Even though I haven't played GS4 Kristoph sounds really cool. Thank you for yet another great story!
