I love this! It was absolutely beautiful yet completely heart breaking! I always get the urge to read the end of your stories before the beginning... just so I can brace myself!

This was absolutely amazing! So many great lines and characterizations. I love the things they say especially Sawyer!

"Well, well, well, if it ain't Bonnie Parker herself."

"Ain't you got another place to go? Someone else who'll harbor a fugitive for ya?"

"Just wasn't impressin' the ladies like it did on the Island O' Doom."

I love how Kate shows gratitude with knick knacks and how he grumbles about them! And I especially loved how Sawyer just had to try to hide her bag!

Ending is sad! Not the happy ending I'm always after but it's realistic and I appreciate the realism in fan fiction. Great job!

wow. jeez i love your stories.

but in actuality, there's a lot of lazy cuddling and lounging- that was awesome. i mean, there are hardly any sweet lazy cuddling scenes in the show (except near the end of I Do) and that just goes to show that there should be, cause i can imagine it so easily in my head.

“You comin' back from this walk, Kate?” - again, that was so cool. i mean, its so straight-foward, and- Sawyer-ish *new word again* but really harsh, in a weird kind of way.

i don't know. my head doesn't connect with my fingers on the keyboard.

her noticing how he never threw any of her 'knickknacks' away was so awesome. i mean, it was that kind of cute-ness, but with no cute-ness at all. god. even i know how weird i sound.

ok, like they know about each other, but never tell each other they do. that kinda thing :)

his fingers raking through her tangled hair, possessing; she hooks a leg around his waist, her own way of staking her claim.- that was the best.

i swear to god i do that. and for that reason.

the ending was really kinda sad, but it didn't seem like the end or anything. kind of hopeful.

but yeah. i loved that story too ;)

This is BEAUTIFUL! I love the imagery of it all, and the angst, and the relationship they have. I just wish she hadn't left. Oh well. I can always imagine she went back.

“Gettin' picky, are we, Freckles?”- lol such a great Sawyer line.

“You comin' back from this walk, Kate?” - I loved this line, it was just so honest and straight forward.

He's still at the house when she returns. He's there the next day, too, antsy and pacing, and finally she has to sit him down and promise him (again) that she's not going to leave while he's out. Won't leave without saying goodbye.- This was so perfect and really made me feel something for Sawyer, that he worries about her not returning and the fect that she's told him more than once that she wont without saying goodbye.

He sighs, finally, stands up and tosses the book almost angrily onto the cushions of the couch. He disappears into the kitchen and then returns, holding her bag out to her. “Hadta try.” It's muttered quietly, and she takes the bag with an almost apologetic look.- Aw!

This time, she doesn't turn back. Two steps into the woods turn into ten and into a hundred, and she doesn't look back until she's sure she'll see nothing but trees.- Aw i had tears in my eyes (Just like in Elegy)

And you blow me away again. Very well crafted and executed. Beautifully sad. I've really liked this trilogy. You tap into their emotions so well and its almost like this could happen on the show.

great story, it has the potential to be more then a one shot, you should have a try at it.
