If I may counstrutively criticize you... I think you should have added dialogue. Having the characters communicate would give the story a special touch and show how you think they act, and what personalities they have (those who can't use words in the first place, like Yoshi and Pikachu, don't bother adding dialogue. But humans or anthropomorphic characters like Link and Fox, they should speak. Anthropomorphic means human-like, by the way.). Please consider this, and keep up the good work!

You finished this a long time ago, but if you want to come back and edit, I'd really like it if you put more battle scenes in. However, even with some lack of battle, I will continue reading.

Aww, for the sake of the SE's future storyline, it would have made more sense for Zelda to have been rescued, not Peach. Shame...

Actually, Diddy split (banana XD) with DK after they found the bananas and Bowser turned DK to a trophy. You're doing really well, for someone who doesn't have the game. Then again, I don't have it either, so, who am I to talk? :)

Really great chapter as always. One of the things I particularly love about your work is when you write your own scenes about what happened in-between the events of the game. And it was superbly written how you described the ROBs' anguish over what had happened to them thus far, and how as the Great Fox went down, they felt a kinship with ROB 64 and chose to save his life.

Another thing that was excellent was how you wrote Solid Snake's arrival and stealthy trek through the Halberd. It was so true to his character and his ability, and this was further personified when his feelings over the ROBs' defeat came into play.

Lucario's discovery of Snake, the trio's battle with the princesses, the cliffhanger at the end...it's all terrific. I think you're being far too harsh on yourself over the original scenes, and this chapter in general. If anything you should be proud.

As usual, a fantastic job! :D I love the part where Lucario lifts up Snake's box, that was one of my favorite cutscenes in the SSE. Snake is definitely not happy. Reminds me of another fanfiction, but I guess this isn't the place to mention it. XD

I like how you made the defeated R.O.B.s turn into trophies instead of spontaneously disappearing. The R.O.B.s are too cool to disappear like that! And the ROB 64, what's up with that?

I see your review count is getting close to 100, I wish I was the one who got the 100th review, but I can't, I guess. Or maybe I should just spam with more reviews. :P

Hmm, I liked the bit in the beginning about the cameo appearance of ROB 64. He didn't appear in the game at all, but it's just those little scenes that you incorporate that make this story much more unique than other typical Smash Bros fanfictions.

Other than that, hmm... what else is there to say? Brilliant descriptions, as always. I especially liked when the fake Princesses came to life and the way you described them. Their fight will be particularly interesting, I'm sure. I can't wait to see how you'll do Sheik.

So... does Snake really hide under a cardboard box in each of his games?
