LOL, loved this story. I like outsider POV and it was so cool that Gary's last save was the cab driver :)

I really like how you described Gary in the first chapter:

Gary looks like a nice, clean-cut guy with his navy pea coat and white turtleneck, like something out of the LL Bean catalog.

It made me laugh, good way to describe him! I like the POV you put into this story..from the eyes of someone directly effected by Gary and his nonselfish ways! Great read! I hope to see more from you! :-)

I really loved this. What a unique way of showing us Gary Hobson. A couple of lines made me laugh out loud, like the line "I think he was attacked by ducks." It made me giggle again just typing it. That is such a funny visual!

The ending was great too with that little extra bonus save. I just hope this isn't the last EE fic from you.

I love it! It actually made me laugh out loud and my co-worker looked at me funny. The bed-head comment was cute but I think my favorite part was this:

I watched him from the rear view as he leaned out the window and called to a pedestrian running down the street carrying a fire extinguisher, a box of frozen White Castle burgers, and what looks to be a pool net? It’s a little early for a scavenger hunt, it being only about 6:45ish.

It had me ROFL. Poor Gary. Thanks for a good read. It's nice to see an update in the EE section.
