I'm surprised I haven't already reviewed this! Especially because I know I read at least the first two chapters before! (I'm a bit of a PopurixGray enthusiast, to put it lightly.)

I liked this, however I think this chapter was a tad rough. I mean don't get me wrong I love the development, the signs of unconscious jealousy on Gray's part was just too cute. And it's a great time to bring Kai in I can't wait to see the drama he'll stir into the mix! However I managed to get turned around quite a few times while reading this.

For example, when you talked of Rick toward the end. Initially I'd thought he was there, with everyone. I thought it was really odd you hadn't set the scene with him in it before, then upon re-reading I realize it was past tense.

Gray's hair color is also hard to follow. Which isn't really your fault (you've been consistent with it after-all) but the fansoms. In some stories his hair is blond, or more commonly red, heck I've even seen stories that had it brown. It's because of this when you said described him as the blond, I straight up hadn't known who you were talking about. Characters like Ann or Popuri have defining characteristics in their hair but Gray's isn't like that. His hair is always covered up by his hat, no one see's it. So it's not really a defining point for him and gets a little hard to follow. Sorry, I know I'm ridicules nitpicking a hair color, it's my enthusiasm coming out.

Just one last thing before you clobber me, more of a food for thought sort of thing. You have a habit of hooking each action with a description when it isn't really needed. In one short paragraph Kai was 'charmingly smiling' Popuri was 'laughing prettily' and her hair was 'glossy pink'. Sometimes there is power in simplicity, and allowing the reader to see for themselves without being told is far more powerful. (Besides the fact that Kai is being described as 'charming' through Gray's POV could be disturbing..)

First of all I just like to say what great story this is so far and that I hope that you'll be continuing, aside from that I really love that you portray Gray. He just seems so in character.

I love this story and idea! I love the Gray/Popuri pairing because I loved Harvest Moon 64 very first. Thanks for doing this and I hope you continue until the end. I will continue to review.
