I love fics that explore "invisible" characters in canon. Because of course a teacher or principal or SOMEONE in school must have noticed Inuyasha! It adds a depth and thoughtfulness in the simplest of ways; very satisfying. I love in particular that it's overhearing Kagome refer directly to the past that sends it home, because otherwise it would be such an odd speculation. I really enjoyed this little ficlet :)

OMG I can't get over htis. It's amazing.

It occures to me that Inuyasha simply did not care whether there were other humans around or not, since it was always Kagome trying to make him cover his ears or staying out of sight. He probably didn't care even if he had noticed Watanabe since the principal was not acting aggressively. He has absolutely no idea of possible consequences of discovery!

I'm surprised the poor principal didn't bother to resign, like the other guy. XD
